This panel brings together representatives from Unite, IWGB, Unison and UCU to talk about how bosses have used the pandemic to put the squeeze on working conditions and job security. We will explore how workers have organised to fight back and how unions have sought to protect their members’ interests.

Jacob has a PhD on activism and social movements and now lectures at Goldsmiths, University of London and co-founder of Demand the Impossible.
Barry Gardiner is the Member of Parliament for Brent North and has been campaigning to outlaw the practise of fire and rehire in the workplace.
