Solidarity is Power: Racial Justice

Saturday 25th September3pm4:30pm
Friends Meeting House

A session for anti-racists and all activists who place anti-racism at the heart of their struggle. We’ll consider the history of cross-community organising in the UK, from the UK Black Panthers to the Bangladeshi Youth Movement. What the challenges were, how we built power and how we won. And we’ll reflect on what it means to rebuild and reimagine cross-community solidarity for a new era, from Black Lives Matter to the Kill the Bill Coalition.
