Corbyn’s leadership brought thousands of people into the Labour Party. Enthused by its change of direction and socialist vision for society, many threw themselves into work on a local and national level.
With Corbyn’s defeat and a new leadership hostile to the left, many are wondering whether the Labour Party is worth their time and where they should be focuses their efforts. This session will hear from local and national activists about socialists can continue to engage with the party effectively – from organising in the community through their CLP, to electing socialist councillors to battling on the NEC.
