Ireland and the British State: An Overview

Saturday 25th September11am12:30pm
Old Steine Gardens - North Tent

This year marks one hundred years since Ireland’s partition, a chaotic and violent process that culminated in the establishment of Northern Ireland and the Irish Free State. In this centenary year, the 'Irish Question' has once again moved to the centre of political debate in Britain. This session will provide an overview of Ireland’s tumultuous history over the past century, with a particular focus on the role of the British state and the labour movement.

This event will be recorded. Subscribe to the TWT Youtube to make sure not to miss it once it's up!
