Organising for a Justice Based Health System

Sunday 26th September3pm4:30pm
Friends Meeting House

The COVID pandemic has reminded everyone why the NHS is the most important and long standing socialist achievement in the UK. But a renewed assault on the health service through a Bill that hands corporations more control of the NHS, and extreme health injustices driven by racism, poverty and environmental destruction have shown how fragile it is. How do we build a national movement for health that expands the socialist ideals for the NHS across all of the things driving ill health within society, pushes back against the commodification of healthcare, and builds a shared approach to health as a public rather than private good?
